Welcome to my blog, a space where faith and mental health converge with compassion, scholarship, and purpose.
I am Dr. Juanda Green, a trauma-informed, culturally competent Marriage & Family Therapist and ordained minister. My career is based on my consistent commitment to combining spiritual care with psychological wellness. In my doctoral research, I explored the complex interplay between demonic oppression and mental illness within faith communities, advocating for collaborative dialogue between clergy and mental health professionals.
This blog is an extension of that mission—a place where pastors, therapists, ministry leaders, and seekers can engage in thoughtful conversations about healing, deliverance, mental health, and the role of the Church in holistic care.
Here, you will find:
- Insights on integrating spiritual discernment with clinical understanding.
- Resources for trauma-informed churches and ministries.
- Reflections on the unique challenges faced by churches and other communities of faith regarding mental health.
- Practical tools to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and compassionate care.
Whether you are a seasoned minister, a mental health professional, or someone navigating your own journey toward wholeness, you’re welcome here. Let us reason together, learn from one another, and work towards a more integrated approach to healing.
